Understanding Metadata
Missing or empty fields indicate that information wasn't set when the PDF was created. Standard metadata includes title, author, subject, and keywords, useful for document organization.
Technical Details
Page dimensions are shown in points (pt). Page rotation indicates if pages are rotated 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees. The PDF version and encryption status provide technical information about the file.
The PDF creator didn't set those fields when creating the document. Not all PDFs contain complete metadata.
An encrypted PDF is password-protected or restricted. The viewer can still extract metadata from encrypted PDFs.
Points are a standard unit in typography. 72 points equals 1 inch.
